Stadiumi “Mlladost” në Strumicë do të jetë tereni në të cilin Shkëndija do ti zhvillojë ndeshjet eliminatore të Liga Evropës.
“Kuqezinjtë” detyrohen të jenë “vendas” në Strumicë, pasi stadiumi “Telekom Arena” në Shkup nuk është në dispozicion, ndërsa stadiumet tjera nuk plotësojnë kushtet për ndeshje Evropiane. Shkëndija pretedonte të luajë në Elbasan, mirëpo UEFA refuzoi këtë kërkesë. KF Shkëndija zyrtarisht konfirmon se ndeshjet e rradhës si vendase në Evropë do t’i zhvillojë në Strumicë, gjegjësish në stadiumin “Mlladost”. Duke ditur se stadiumi “Telekom Arena” në Shkup nuk mund të shfrytëzohet për shkak të përgatitjeve për organizimin e Super Kupës së Evropës, duhej të kërkohet alternativë dhe për Shkëndijën qyteti i Strumicës mbeti opsion i vetëm në këtë moment. Në fakt Shkëndija kërkoi të luajë në Elbasan dhe autoritetet e stadiumit dhe Federatës shqiptare të Futbollit dhanë leje për çka Shkëndija është mirënjohëse dhe shpreh falënderim publik, mirëpo e njejta u refuzua nga UEFA, pasi Komiteti për Emergjencë pranë shtëpisë së futbollit Evropian në këtë periudhë nuk ka të paraparë mbledhje në të cilën do të shqyrtohej kjo kërkesë.
Kështu, Strumica mbeti opsion i vetëm për zhvillimin e ndeshjeve ndërkombëtarë këtë verë. “Kuqezinjtë” më 19-të qershor në shortin që do të hidhet në Nyon të Zvicrës do të mësojnë emrin e kundërshtarit për xhiron e parë të eliminatoreve të Liga Evropës. Ndeshja e parë sipas planit fillestar duhet të luhet më 29 qershor, ndërsa takimi i kthimit më 6 korrik.

Stadium “Mladost” in Strumica will be the home ground for Shkëndija’s Europa League matches.
“The red and blacks” are forced to be host the Europa League matches in Strumica, as the stadium “Telekom Arena” in Skopje is not available, while other stadiums do not meet the requirments of UEFA. Shkëndija was planing to play in Elbasan, but UEFA refused this request. FC Shkëndija officially confirms that the home ground for Europa League matches will be played in Strumica, respectively at the “Mladost Stadium”. Knowing that the stadium “Telekom Arena” in Skopje could not be used due to preparations for the organization of the European Super Cup , an alternative was required and for the Shkëndija, the city of Strumica remained the only option at the moment. In fact, Shkëndija requested to play in Elbasan and the stadium authorities and the Albanian Football Federation issued permission which for we are grateful and expresses public gratitude, but the same was rejected by UEFA, as the Emergency Committee at the European Football House in this period did not hasn’t planed a meeting in which this request wold be discussed.
Thus, Strumica remained the only option as the home ground for our European matches. The “red an blacks” on 19th June in the draw that will be held in Nyon, Switzerland will learn the name of the opponent for the first round of the Europa League qualifiers. The first match according to the original plan will be played on June 29, and the 2nd leg on July 6th.
